Mernøe is a family based lighting company founded in 2020. They design lamps in classic materials and produce locally by order in Copenhagen.

Our designs are made in solid wood and metals. All parts are processed by local artisans close to our studio. Each piece is surface treated individually by hand before assembling. Only producing by order and customize materials for each piece.

Mernøe was founded from a personal need. Designer and engineer Morten Mernøe and his wife needed light over their dining table. Morten designed pendant No. 1. He used the organic surface of wood as reflector to transform LED light into a warm temperature. Together with his two sons, they opened their first studio currently displaying four designs.
