The Mirror/Zero Pink Edition – Square Series by Formaminima reimagines the wall mirror as a sculptural composition, combining rare Middle Eastern pink onyx with hand-ground crystal through an innovative layering technique. A hand-applied mirror gradient creates the illusion of the translucent stone dissolving into the surrounding space, producing a subtle trompe-l’œil effect that shifts with light and perspective.
Defined by its frameless silhouette and geometric proportions, the mirror celebrates the natural beauty of pink onyx, whose delicate veining and warm tonal variations ensure that every piece is unique. Entirely handcrafted in Italy, the composition reflects Formaminima’s distinctive dialogue between material research, artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary design, transforming a functional object into a refined architectural statement.

As a service to our customers, we arrange the shipping of orders via one of our preferred carriers. Shipping cost will be calculated after confirmation of your delivery address. We will email you within 3 days with the quotation for your acceptance. You have the right to withdrawal from the purchase if delivery cost will not meet your expectations.
All charges are proforma and will be included on your order’s final balance.
Two options are available :
White glove service: our shipping partner will unload, unpack, check and install the product in the room of your choice.
Simple service: our shipping partner will unload the product and deliver it in front of the building. If you choose to manage your own freight and delivery, Studio Fenice must be notified of the specific details of the movement. The fee to move the product from a manufacturer to a terminal for “customer’s own” pick-up will be added to the balance due. The location of the pick-up by the client or the client’s agent may trigger sales tax responsibility at that location.
Ownership of the product transfers to the client upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s and all claims for freight damage must be made within 72 hours of receipt. If customer selects their own freight carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier. Studio Fenice is not responsible for a customer’s own or third party freight damage and claim.

The designer
Founded in 2018 by designer Caterina Vrabec, Formaminima is an independent design studio based in Trieste, Italy. After studying Product Design at IUAV University of Venice and Sustainable Product Design at Kingston University London, Vrabec established the studio to explore the relationship between contemporary design and Italy’s enduring craft traditions.
Working with specialised artisans across the country, Formaminima creates lighting, furniture and collectible objects that celebrate the expressive qualities of materials including Venetian crystal, solid brass, marble and fine porcelain. Rather than viewing craftsmanship as a legacy to preserve, the studio embraces it as a living practice through which traditional techniques can be reinterpreted for the present.
Defined by geometric clarity, restrained forms and meticulous attention to detail, Formaminima’s collections reveal a thoughtful dialogue between material, light and space. Each object reflects a commitment to precision, longevity and the quiet sophistication that has become the studio’s signature.
