BABA is a monolithic wall light carved entirely from solid travertine, conceived as a quiet vertical presence rather than a conventional lighting fixture. Its elongated form and softened contours evoke an almost totemic quality — an object that feels both archaic and resolutely contemporary.

Light emerges discreetly from within the stone, grazing its porous surface and revealing the material’s natural cavities, veins, and tonal variations. The effect is subtle and atmospheric, designed to accompany space rather than illuminate it overtly. Each piece is inherently unique, shaped by the geological character of the travertine itself.

BABA is well suited for intimate interiors, corridors, or contemplative architectural settings, where repetition or solitary placement allows the piece to establish rhythm and presence. As a service to our customers, we arrange the shipping of orders via one of our preferred carriers. Shipping cost will be calculated after confirmation of your delivery address. We will email you within 3 days with the quotation for your acceptance. You have the right to withdrawal from the purchase if delivery cost will not meet your expectations.

All charges are proforma and will be included on your order’s final balance.

Two options are available :

White glove service: our shipping partner will unload, unpack, check and install the product in the room of your choice.

Simple service: our shipping partner will unload the product and deliver it in front of the building. If you choose to manage your own freight and delivery, Studio Fenice must be notified of the specific details of the movement. The fee to move the product from a manufacturer to a terminal for “customer’s own” pick-up will be added to the balance due. The location of the pick-up by the client or the client’s agent may trigger sales tax responsibility at that location.

Ownership of the product transfers to the client upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s and all claims for freight damage must be made within 72 hours of receipt. If customer selects their own freight carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier. Studio Fenice is not responsible for a customer’s own or third party freight damage and claim.

These pieces are crafted by local artisans and will exhibit natural variations in stone, finish, and detail, as is typical of handmade products. Custom sizes and finishes are available upon request.
