The Rippling Tide I continues Andrea Bores’ exploration of landscape as a dynamic and ever-shifting phenomenon. Created through manual textile dyeing techniques using anilines, the work emerges through a process where pigment, water, and fabric interact in quiet tension, allowing movement itself to become visible. As the anilines dissolve into the wet textile, traces unfold organically — carrying the memory of turbulence, flow, and transformation.
Rather than depicting a fixed geography, Bores approaches landscape as something fluid and unstable, shaped by forces that remain partially unseen. The resulting composition evokes tidal rhythms, atmospheric movement, and the delicate complexity found within natural systems.
Suspended between abstraction and elemental process, The Rippling Tide I invites a slower contemplation of movement, impermanence, and the subtle orders hidden within unpredictability.

As a service to our customers, we arrange the shipping of orders via one of our preferred carriers. Shipping cost will be calculated after confirmation of your delivery address. We will email you within 3 days with the quotation for your acceptance. You have the right to withdrawal from the purchase if delivery cost will not meet your expectations.
All charges are proforma and will be included on your order’s final balance.
Two options are available :
White glove service: our shipping partner will unload, unpack, check and install the product in the room of your choice.
Simple service: our shipping partner will unload the product and deliver it in front of the building. If you choose to manage your own freight and delivery, Studio Fenice must be notified of the specific details of the movement. The fee to move the product from a manufacturer to a terminal for “customer’s own” pick-up will be added to the balance due. The location of the pick-up by the client or the client’s agent may trigger sales tax responsibility at that location.
Ownership of the product transfers to the client upon the freight carrier taking possession of the order for transport. Therefore, responsibility for damage occurring in-transit is the owner’s and all claims for freight damage must be made within 72 hours of receipt. If customer selects their own freight carrier, freight claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier. Studio Fenice is not responsible for a customer’s own or third party freight damage and claim.
The Rippling Tide I is a one-of-a-kind work.
Created through an inherently organic textile dyeing process using anilines, each mark, movement, and material interaction emerges uniquely and cannot be replicated.
Its singular composition preserves the quiet traces of turbulence, transformation, and the living unpredictability of the artist’s process.

The designer
Born in Mexico and based in Mexico City, Andrea Bores explores the shifting structures of landscape through a practice rooted in material experimentation.
Working across textile, pigment, fiber, ink, and natural processes, her work reflects an ongoing dialogue between matter, time, and transformation. Rather than depicting landscape as fixed, Bores approaches it as a living system — unstable, fluid, and in constant motion — where chance, gesture, and the memory of materials shape poetic and atmospheric compositions.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and includes residencies at Casa Wabi and Casa Nano
